DIY Santa Buckle Gift Wrapping

A mantra that my mother lives by is "It does not matter what it inside the packages, as long as the wrapping looks beautiful!"
So, I gave it my best shot to try my own creation of "Santa's Buckle" themed wrapping.

The things you will need are:
  1. Red wrapping paper (thicker the better)
  2. Black ribbon (one and a half inches wide)
  3. Glittery gold scrapbook paper
  4. Sissors
  5. Tape
  6. Stapelor
  7. Marker or pen
First, you are going to wrap the box in your red paper. Make sure your lines are clean and straight.

Now it is time to make the belt! Just wrap the ribbon around the package and staple!

On to the semi-tricky part: the buckle! Cut out a square of your gold glittery paper. Then, you need to make a smaller square stencil out of paper and trace it on the backside of the big square.

Time to cut it out! I first like to make a diagonal cut from the corner until you reach the small square's corner. Then, cut on the line.

It should now look similar to this:

Lastly, tape the buckle onto the belt.

And viola! You have made the cutest packages even Santa himself would approve of :) Everyone will be so impressed. These are definitely simple and easy once you get the hang of it. Merry Christmas!

Happy wrapping!
