UARK Campus Beauties

So this week, the leaves were changing and it makes me so happy. I wanted to capture some of those good campus landmarks.

Location: In front of Razorback Stadium
For this photo, I wanted to capture this way the sun shone behind the razorbacks. The automatic settings made the photo really dark. I increased the ISO and tried to make the background just a touch more out of focus.

Automatic Settings
f/4, 1/125 s, iso 400
Manual Settings
f/4, 1/320, iso 400

Location: Agriculture Building

The leaves were starting to change, so I wanted to snap a pic of that. It is definitely not my favorite picture ever but it's not the worst. I changed the shutter speed because the wind was moving just a tad, so it made the picture darker.

Automatic Settings
f/4, 1/160 s, iso 100
Manual Settings
f/4.0, 1/250 s, iso 400

While walking on campus, I finally found my grandpa's name. Both of my grandpas and my dad graduated from the U of A, so I thought it would be fun to take pictures of their names. I wanted to just snap of a wide shot of the names to see what the automatic settings were, but decided to adjust my angle and see what I could come up with.

Automatic Settings
f/7.1, 1/200 s, iso 800
Manual Settings
f/5.0, 1/100 s, iso 200

I think Old Main is hands-down one of the prettiest buildings on campus. I wanted to really capture the way the sun shined on the building and tree. I had to change my angle, let more light in and I think I really got it.

Automatic Settings
f/11, 1/200 s, iso 800
Manual Settings
f/4.0, 1/200 s, iso 200

For this photo, I wanted to get a similar photo, just closer. In my manual shot, I just decreased the ISO.
